Woodlawn Arts Academy’s Visual Arts Curriculum Program offers four levels of mixed-media art classes. Students will show their work in art exhibits in December and May. Class placement is based on age, technical level and experience. Each student is given a progress report at the end of the school year. This informs students for what level they may register the next fall and gives feedback on each artist’s progress.
Our curriculum is based on age and grade-level recommendations from State of Illinois and National Standards. Students start in our mixed-media classes in the early grades and have a chance to try a vast array of media.
