Guys and Dolls Jr.

Calling all 6th-8th graders! Register now to play a part in our spring musical theatre production of “Guys and Dolls Jr.” 5th graders may call to be put on a wait list, and any open spots will be given to these students starting at 9am Wednesday, 2/17/21. If no open spots remain, 6th-8th graders registering on or after 2/17/21 will be waitlisted.  Rehearsals at Woodlawn Arts Academy: 3:45-5:45pm Mon & Wed, 3/1/21-4/14/21 Rehearsals at SHS Centennial Auditorium: 3:45-5:45pm Mon & Wed, 4/19/21-4/28/21 & Tech Week: Mon-Thu, 5/3/21-5/6/21 Performances at Centennial Auditorium May 7th, 8th and 9th. Details will be announced

Theatre Makeup 101

Ever wanted to practice with theatre make-up? Learn to make someone look young, old, scary sweet, etc.! You might even turn yourself into your favorite character! Participants will receive an email with Zoom links, and details on picking up makeup kits at Woodlawn Arts Academy prior to the start of class.

Musical Theatre Dance Class

Theatrical dance style that includes dance technique and acting to songs from musicals. Students will perform a dance in the 2021 dance recital. This is a 16-week class. An additional fee will be charged for a costume at a later date.

Lap Tray Workshop for Teens

Learning from home and need to organize your space? This lap tray is what you need! Approximately 18” x 16”. All woodworking classes are appropriate for all levels. Images are representations of the projects to be made and may not be the exact project created in class.

Clay Build-A-Bug Workshop 2

For all one-day clay workshops, projects will not be painted in class. Your artwork will be given a coat of clear glaze and fired in Woodlawn’s kiln after the workshop has ended, and you will receive an email when it is ready for pickup. Images are representations of the projects to be made and may not be the exact project created in class. Clay workshops are meant for beginner learning experiences, and projects do not always turn out as expected.
