Use hand-built and coiling methods to create a piece of art that looks good enough to eat! For all one-day clay workshops, projects will not be painted in class. Your artwork will be given a coat of clear glaze and fired in Woodlawn’s kiln after the workshop has ended, and you will receive an email when it is ready for pickup. Images are representations of the projects to be made and may not be the exact project created in class. Clay workshops are meant for beginner learning experiences, and projects do not always turn out as expected.
Hang out in a recording studio and learn to record music with musicians. You don’t need to be a musician, but if you are, you can record your own song! If you prefer to be “behind the boards,” you will be recording and mixing what could be the next hit song.
Ever wanted to practice with theatre make-up? Work together with a partner (such as mom, dad, sibling) to create over-the-top character makeup on each other! Hairstyles may be incorporated, as well. Want to turn Mom into a robot or your brother into an alien? Tuition covers the cost of both participants.
