In each of our dance workshops, dancers will get instruction and learn a combination from a specialist(s) in that genre. In Ballet, Modern/Contemporary and Lyrical workshops, dancers will get a ballet warm-up together before breaking into skill-level groups to get instruction and learn combinations. Each group will train with two different instructors. Register for the workshops for all 5 styles for a total of $90 for all.

Use the basket-weave technique to create with clay. For all one-day clay workshops, projects will not be painted in class. Your artwork will be given a coat of clear glaze and fired in Woodlawn’s kiln after the workshop has ended, and you will receive an email when it is ready for pickup. Images are representations of the projects to be made and may not be the exact project created in class. Clay workshops are meant for beginner learning experiences, and projects do not always turn out as expected.
Use both hand-built and wheel methods as an introduction/review to ceramics and technique.
