Experience all things clay! Create multiple clay creations and practice the skills necessary to mold and form this 3D art form.
Create fruits and vegetables out of clay that magically come to life with faces! For all one-day clay workshops, projects will not be painted in class. Your artwork will be given a coat of clear glaze and fired in Woodlawn’s kiln after the workshop has ended, and you will receive an email when it is ready for pickup. A guide to finding the beauty in everyday objects and learning how to use focus, light and staging to make them extraordinary. Great experience for 4-H projects and Scout Badges!
Learn basic photography skills including how the camera works, how to compose a photo and how to tell a story with pictures. Photos will be taken in the studio as well as outdoors. Themes and photo safaris will be used as inspiration. Basic Photoshop will also be introduced to edit the photos.
