Dixon Municipal Band

The Dixon Municipal Band plays a 10-week summer concert series in the Page Park Band Shell in Dixon, plus a number of community events.

Festival 56

Founded in 2003, Princeton Theatre Group is a volunteer driven, non-profit arts organization dedicated to developing Princeton and the surrounding region as a home for professional theatre and theatre arts education. Festival 56 offers professional theatre in central Illinois and is produced by Princeton Theatre Group.

Polo Area Community Theatre

Polo Area Community Theatre’s mission is to offer live theatre experiences for members of the community of all ages as spectators and participants, to enrich culture and life in the rural community of Polo, Illinois and the surrounding areas.

Rock River Jazz Band

A 16- to 19-piece jazz band that can play a variety of styles. Concerts are free to the public, but donations are requested.

Rock River Valley Barbershop Chorus

The Sterling-Rock Falls, Illinois chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Providing barbershop-style concerts, youth events and workshops, sermon and song programs at area churches, and singing Valentines.

Sauk Valley Theatre Alliance

The summer of 2014 marked the beginning of the Sauk Valley Theatre Alliance. With resources becoming increasingly limited, in order to continue to provide our students and this community with quality theatre experiences, a partnership has been negotiated between Sauk Valley Community College, Woodlawn Arts Academy and Sterling Public Schools (Centennial Auditorium). These organizations recognize the value and power of the arts as well as the incredible talent in the Sauk Valley area. We believe this alliance will positively impact our programs and the development of theatre in this community.

Sterling Municipal Band

Providing a summer concert series and performing special concerts in Sterling since the 1850s.

Sterling Mural Society

Since 1995, establishing, preserving, maintaining and promoting the murals throughout downtown Sterling to enhance the beauty and desirability of the area, build community pride and tourism, and educate citizens about Sterling's rich history.

The Dixon | Historic Theatre

The Dixon | Historic Theatre is owned and operated by Historic Dixon Theatre Group. The board is appointed by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Dixon, but operates as an entirely independent body, bringing concerts, theatre productions and more to the area.

The Loft on Main

The Loft On Main promotes Morrison, Illinois, both as a regional arts destination by providing a venue for local artists to create, promote and sell original art, and to foster arts education through lessons and programs.

The Next Picture Show

A non-profit Fine Arts Gallery located in Dixon whose mission is to educate, foster the arts, and galvanize artists and patrons within the Rock River Valley Area.
