- Culinary ArtsWoodlawn Arts Academy’s culinary programs get students in the kitchen to teach them the joy of cooking and baking. Learn the basics while experiencing new and different flavors. Most of our culinary programs are held off-site, with special thanks to our partners at The Kitchen Incubator of Northwest Illinois and Whiteside Area Career Center.
- DanceWoodlawn Dance Academy is an established dance studio that is proud to serve the Sauk Valley area. Our goal is to offer quality programs while creating an environment for positive learning and, most of all, FUN! Below, find a list of upcoming camps, workshops and clinics, along with classes that are not a part of our school-year dance program. - EducationWoodlawn’s Education programming uses the arts along with Core Curriculum and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) concepts to teach students the art of imagination and creative thinking. For details on our preschool program, click the button below.
- MusicWhether you aspire to be a classical pianist or a drummer for a rock band, we cater to all levels of experience. Woodlawn Arts Academy offers private and group instruction, along with classes, for students of all ages. - TheatreWoodlawn Arts Academy’s student theatre programs are open to all, and every student who registers gets a part! Participants get the opportunity to act, sing and dance, plus learn auditioning tips, and about costuming and set design. Rehearsals for our musicals take place in the J. Mark Beaty Performance Center at Woodlawn Arts Academy until the last few weeks of rehearsals, when they move to Sauk Valley Community College’s Jerry Mathis Theatre, thanks to our Sauk Valley Theatre Alliance partnership with SVCC and Centennial Auditorium. Additionally, we offer outreach theatre programs with Dixon Public Schools, as well as Rock Falls Middle School through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant with the Sterling-Rock Falls Y. - Visual ArtsWoodlawn Arts Academy’s visual arts program encompasses 2D and 3D art, including drawing, painting, photography, clay, glass and mixed media for all ages and levels of experience. - Ages 0-3Woodlawn Dance Academy is an established dance studio that is proud to serve the Sauk Valley area. It is housed at Woodlawn Arts Academy, which is a state-of-the-art facility featuring three professionally equipped dance studios. Woodlawn Dance Academy offers many styles of dance for ages 3 & up.

- Summer Day CampsWoodlawn Arts Academy is a great place to bring your field trip. We can offer indoor and/or outdoor programming for groups of all ages and sizes in all disciplines of the arts. Contact our Program Coordinator to find out how we can help you plan a fun-filled, arts-enriched day! During the summer, our diverse programming includes a number of camps in various individual disciplines, as well as mixed-genre camps available to give students a variety of arts experiences.
