The WDA Competition & Performance team got its start during the 2011-12 school year. Team members trained throughout the year, performed at numerous community events, and finished off their first year by training at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida, with Disney professionals and performing on stage at Disney World.

These teams are for ages 6-18, who want the chance to compete and perform. Our goal is to build well-rounded, confident and technically strong dancers while providing great performance opportunities. By the end of this unique experience, our dancers will strive for excellence and have a strong sense of community and team.

Auditions are held in the summer, and team members make a full-year commitment that includes required technique classes, competition rehearsals, workshops and competitions.
